Learning how to
avoid the swine flu is necessary now! The information that is available for the
masses is inadequate to avoid the swine flu because it is
simply too general.
Everybody on this planet is
a creature of habit. We all understand that and we all will
naturally fight any changes to our habits. Our habits make us
look good. We get things done smoothly, effortlessly and half
the time we cannot remember all the little steps we took to
get any routine job done. That's why experience is so valuable
because, we've built up a number of habits that help us do
things more proficiently.
To Avoid the Swine flu, there are hundreds
of dos and don't's, we all should practice daily.
If we
allow our habits to do UNSAFE things that we are not aware of,
we could be in big trouble. Obviously, if a person does not
change their habits, they greatly increase their chance of
having problems.
These habits also must be changed very
quickly and deeply
ingrained ones will be very difficult to change. Looking at
the problem closely we see a huge job that everyone must
master.
During a
normal flu season, when a person starts showing flu systems
like coughing and sneezing, we tolerate it. After all if we catch it, we probably won't
have serious problems. That same tolerance will not exist during
the swine flu pandemic. If you cough or sneeze, people will
look at you like you have the plague, and leave as soon as
possible.
The virus is
so small we never know when it's around us.
A person couching could have
a normal cold or something caught in their throat. It is only
80 to 120 billionth's of a meter in diameter. When someone
sneezes or coughs the droplets can reach up to 150 feet a
second. When the moisture from the droplets dries, it leaves
behind thousands of flu germs, and they can
contaminate surfaces. If a person tries to deal with the virus
with general behavior instead of specific and well thought of
responses, it could allow for infection.
People must stop touching their face,
petting animals, eating food in certain situations,
wearing jewelry, applying
cosmetics in areas where infection could occur, using their
cell phones except in emergency situations, putting their
hands in their pockets, accepting money in their bare hands,
hanging around groups of people, standing close to anyone
outside their self-imposed quarantine, shaking hands, etc.
Since, people will catch the swine flu
virus from contamination in the air and
by touching surfaces, there are hundreds of things we could do
daily to reduce our chances of catching the virus. A small
fraction of the new habits we could create may include
carrying specific items with you daily, knowing when and where
to use them, using disinfection wipes to clean certain items
in your environment, how to deal with group pressure and
people who you normally respect but finds they are lacking in
safety procedures, and a whole lot more.
History has shown that a severe
flu pandemic could last as long as 18 to 24 months or
more. In the 1918 Spanish
flu pandemic, there were four waves of activity lasting
six to eight weeks separated by calm. Up to 50 percent of the
population could become ills after all the waves are over.
Staying in a self-imposed quarantine for the duration will be
out of the question for almost everyone.

negative feedback daily. However, I'm sure there are no traditional
schools that teach a course in "Avoiding The Swine Flu."
Therefore, as long as you have motivation which you will and
good information presented so that you can quickly and easily
